What is the black hole’s opposite?

by scw on 08/27/2010

This is the second post I am making to the original Have Questions? So Do I…

When I look at this question, only one word comes to mind. Everything.

If a black hole in the universe is said to compact and destroy everything that it pulls in, then  its opposite would be everything that is still there.  I do not know much about black holes, but what I do believe is that they have an extreme amount of gravity.  It has so much gravity that it actually traps light rays, thus giving them the name “black hole.”

Obviously, nobody has been in or even close to one; so, everything right now is just theory.  Something I have never heard anybody talking about is black holes growing in size over time.  If it is not growing, then where does everything go that gets “sucked in?”

I picture the black holes to be much like a toilet.  When you push the lever, the water (and whatever else) disappears.  The size of the toilet doesn’t change, but you cannot see where everything goes.  I think that black holes are actually much like this, only with a lot more stuff.  Where it goes I do not know, but it seems like it would be an interesting ride!

I am currently reading information on black holes, string theory, superstring theory, and M theory.  When I get more information I will update this post.

I guess there wasn’t really much I could talk about on this one.  The opposite of a negative is a positive. The opposite of nothing is everything.  If a black hole is a symbol for nothing, then everything is the opposite.

One question I am curious about is what a black hole actually does.  Not how it works, or what happens inside or around one, but its function in the universe.  Does is transport everything here to another place or time? Or does it compact everything until it breaks down into nothing? Or does it do something else entirely.  I personally think that something else entirely will end up being the correct answer… I have no idea what, but the first two seem way too obvious for me.

I think I just caused myself more questions then answers!

Oh well… Thanks for reading!

This makes me think of the Bermuda Triangle. Things are said to have disappeared after entering the Bermuda Triangle. I think the Black Hole compacts everything until it breaks down into nothing. That’s my theory and I’m sticken to it!

I do believe that I am with “The Fly.” Even the stuff that is flushed down the toilet goes somewhere different to break down right?
Riding in a black hole sounds more disgusting than interesting.I think I would have to send a camera instead.

I would still have to ride it to see where it goes!

Blackholes are esenchale to rotashion of gallexyes as they oftern at the center and are more crative as they are beleved to creat the exsidence of such gallixyes like our own milkyway and cause the large number of stars in them they send out super farst jets of mater and gas that gets draged in to the event horision of a suppure massive blackhole at thes centers and these winds evencherlie push and keeps everything ie all the stars in the gallixesy turning at the same distance they are allso very creative. let me now how you get on there is so much more to the pitcher than we can posablely begine to emagion i am only sciming the suface.
